  I go to Chili's mostly when I'm otherwise out of ideas. Nothing about this location or any other I've been to over the years has been particularly appetizing or inspired. This time, though, our server largely ignored us.

  Terrible service.. I just arrived and asked if I could sit in a certain area because it was a little quieter. The hostess told me no and said that no one can sit there and so she placed me next to the other customers (which was literally inches away on the other side of the wall). After sitting down for literally one minute I walked up to the front door to meet my friend and noticed that a nice young man was sitting where I had asked to sit. AFter the waitress took his order, I asked her why I couldn't sit there and she told me "well technically this area is blocked off"... You can't tell one customer no and then 'yes' to the next person..anyway, she then advised I could sit by the bar which had this terrible old cleaning smell. I left after that....
